    7:00 pm

Join us for one of Evergreen Audubon’s favorite summer traditions—an evening of good food, community, and time in nature together. We’ll gather outdoors in Bancroft Meadow with Douglas Hall open for restrooms and in case of inclement weather.

Whether you’re a longtime member or attending for the first time, the Annual Picnic is a wonderful opportunity to relax, reconnect, and meet fellow nature enthusiasts in a beautiful setting. This is primarily a member event, though guests are always welcome. We suggest making a donation for non-members to help offset BBQ costs.

What to Expect

  • 4:00–4:45 PM — Appetizers provided by the board, along with time to mingle and enjoy the meadow
  • 4:45 PM — Group photo in front of the Nature Center
  • 5:00 PM — Potluck dinner begins

Potluck Details

Evergreen Audubon will provide pulled pork BBQ and vegetarian black bean BBQ sandwiches.

Please bring a dish to share based on your last name:

  • I–R: Side dish (potato or pasta salad, fresh fruit, chips and dip, or another favorite)
  • S–Z: Dessert

Please pre-cut or prepare dishes for easy serving and bring a serving utensil.

To help minimize waste, please take home any serving dishes or leftover items you bring.

What to Bring

  • Your own beverage of choice (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Water will be available to refill bottles and cups.

  • Stories, bird sightings, and summer adventures to share with friends
