Bird Nerds Camp

Monday, June 10 – Friday, June 14

9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Hummingbirds, ducks and owls, oh my! We have incredible birds living in our mountain habitats! Kids in this week-long, half-day camp will discover the amazing ways that local birds survive and their relationships to our native habitat. Campers will explore the woods, use binoculars, create art projects and be real scientists studying bird behavior and adaptations. How does bird life connect with plants, insects and other animals? Our Bird Nerds are about to find out this summer!

Insect Investigations Camp

Monday, July 08 – Friday, July 12

9:00 am – 12:00 pm

What are earthworms doing under the surface? How are moths and butterflies different? Can ants really lift things 20 times their body weight?? We’ll investigate these questions and more during bug week! Our Insect Investigators will spend the week searching high and low for all the bugs we can find – even aquatic ones. It’s sure to be a buggy week!

Habitat Heroes Camp

Monday, July 29 – Friday, August 2

9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Explore the different habitats in our mountain communities and learn how we can be Habitat Heroes for the animals who live here too! What do animals need to live in a forest? How about in a meadow? Campers will visit new habitats throughout the week and discover how to be good nature neighbors!
