LAST JUNE, WE DIDN’T KNOW how things would shape up. The Evergreen Nature Center was moving. We didn’t know if people would find us. We didn’t know what it would be like to be open year-round. We didn’t know how our exhibits and programs would work in the new space. And we didn’t know how it would impact the budget.
THIS JUNE, WE KNOW. The nature center is buzzing with activity. Explore More! After School Programs! have expanded. Day camps are full. Preschool and family programs are popular. Partnerships with other like-minded organizations are stronger than ever. We don’t have nearly as much incidental drop-in traffic as we had when we were next door to the boat rental office, but we’re reaching more people than ever, especially children: people come to the nature center and our programs on purpose. And, our costs are up.
PLEASE JOIN US as we gather to support Evergreen Audubon and Evergreen Nature Center! Share in the fun, take pride in what we are doing together, and be part of our ongoing success.
Can’t come to the party? You can still take part: Talk your friends into coming. Buy raffle tickets at the nature center or the June 4 chapter meeting. Donate at the nature center using our new QR code or Donate online. You can even send a check. We take cash.

PS: Starting Wednesday, June 5, Evergreen Nature Center will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 10-4.
