Storytime with Evergreen Library
Wednesdays through July! 9:15 am – 10 am
There are so many wonderful stories about nature! Visit us at Evergreen Lake on Wednesday mornings starting June 1 to enjoy great stories and activities provided by staff from the Evergreen Library. We’ll sing songs, play games, and learn about nature. This program is geared for children ages 2-5, but all ages are welcome.
Native Plant Sale
Friday, June 3, 5 – 7 pm or until sold out
We are hosting a Native Plant Sale on Friday, June 3 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Evergreen Christian Church. Native plants are so important for our pollinators, birds and local wildlife. Plants for sale will be ideal for elevations of 7,000 to 10,000 feet. Give nature a helping hand and plant your native garden today.
Summer Camps

There is still time to sign up for summer camps! If your child loves being outside and being active in nature, then our summer day camps are for them. Forest Bathing Walk
Sunday, June 12, 9 am – 11 am
Slow down and immerse yourself in nature in a new way through the Japanese practice of forest bathing. On your walk, a certified guide will offer you a series of invitations designed to open up your senses and better connect with the natural world. Reconnect with nature, and yourself, on these slower-paced mindful wanders. The walk concludes with a tea ceremony featuring tea made with local plants and healthy snacks.
Women in Nature (WIN): Hiking 101
Saturday, June 25, 9 am – 11 am
Are you new to hiking outdoors? Maybe you have fears or doubts that keep you from hitting the trail, or just need a “wing woman”? Hiking, camping, and general exploration in the mountains can be a daunting adventure to start on your own, so we invite you to learn the ins-and-outs of outdoor adventuring at our Women In Nature (WIN) hiking event! We’ll discuss the 10 hiking essentials, what to bring in your backpack, and overall best practices while exploring the great outdoors. This program aims to empower women in nature exploration and recreation!
