The water continues very high at Harriman Lake and there is no shoreline to speak of. Apparently, most of the ducks have vamoosed northward, and even though we are in the midst of shorebird migration we didn’t see a single one – not even a Killdeer.
Approximately thirty intrepid souls attended the chilly 2022 Dawn Chorus at Evergreen Lake on Sunday, May 1. It may have been a bit cold initially, but it was a clear, calm morning with a beautiful sunrise and warm comradery.
