Colorado Fishing Regulations
A valid Colorado Fishing License is required for all people 16 years old and older to fish, and regulations must be followed. Regulations include where fishing is allowed, the number of fish you may catch or have in your possession, and the types of bait and tackle allowed. Some species of fish must be returned to the water immediately with as much care as possible. Know the rules before you go.
Fishing licenses may be purchased at Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices, outfitters, fly shops, sporting goods stores, and at stores that sell bait and equipment, including some gas stations. In the Evergreen area, Blue Quill Anglers, Big R and Walmart sell licenses.
