Description:

This popular gem in the Denver Mountain Parks system offers hiker-only trails close to Denver. Several loops are available, with just a touch of multiuse trail included. Hike through a ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, and Rocky Mountain juniper forest then across flower-filled meadows. The trail drops into a peaceful and lush section next to a little stream past Colorado blue spruces.
