Does your nature explorer come home with their pockets full of rocks? Then this camp week is for them! Become a geologist for a week and learn all about the exciting stories that rocks can tell us! The Rocky Mountains are geological marvels and are a fascinating way to learn about Colorado’s history. Campers will learn how to identify some of our most common rocks and minerals using dichotomous keys, study rocks up close with microscopes, and of course, spend time hiking to find specimens!

The Evergreen FlexRide bus service will be accommodating our camps by picking up and
dropping off our group at the nature center and taking us to a new Open Space Park each day.

Minimum class size is 5, and maximum is 10.

Registration by May 15, 2026 includes an Evergreen Audubon Camp T-Shirt!
Registration will remain open after May 15, but a t-shirt will not be guaranteed.
