Presentation Details

Beavers are extraordinary ecosystem engineers that are often overlooked or underappreciated. They were powerful forces in history that shaped our country into the prosperous land that we thrive on today.

Beavers now have the ability to create wetland systems for land health, fish and wildlife habitat, and they can help mitigate climate change and wildfire. All of this is possible with a little education and willingness to share the land.

Learn about beaver history, their benefits, and tools that we can use to help them expand their influence during a presentation with USFWS Private Lands Biologist, Kelsea Holloway.

Be sure to arrive early to grab a good seat (virtual or actual) and to visit with your Evergreen Audubon friends and neighbors.  The meeting begins at 7 pm with brief announcements to catch you up on Evergreen Audubon’s jam-packed calendar of events and outings, immediately followed by the evening’s program.
