Evergreen Audubon Wins 2nd Place in Mickman Brothers Testimonial Contest

For many years the Mickman Brothers have been providing wreaths to Evergreen Audubon for our wreath sale fundraisers. Linda Engelhart, on behalf of Evergreen Audubon, entered their “Testimonial Contest” recently, and they gave us 2nd place! The reward is a $400 credit towards our 2024 Christmas Wreath Fundraiser.

Linda’s entry:

Evergreen Audubon members and friends rally every Fall to place wreath orders to support our Evergreen Nature Center, located on Bear Creek. This tradition has raised thousands of dollars annually for almost 20 years. The funds are put to good use on our nature center displays, staffing, and programing. Our nature center is open to the public for free. Our mission is “to foster contagious enthusiasm and life-long respect for the natural world by providing fun and inspiring educational experiences. “We offer birding hikes, informative chapter meetings, nestbox building, monitoring activities, after-school programs, and summer camps for kids. The photos here feature a member’s aunt receiving her wreath delivery at home and the Evergreen Nature Center.
