Come learn The Truth About Wolves with ColoradoWild and ecologist Becca Burkhalter! This is a presentation of the science behind coexisting with wolves and the ecological benefits of wolves. We will also discuss wolf history and current events, especially in Colorado. We will answer questions like, “What good are wolves, anyway?,” “How can ranchers protect their livestock?,” and, “How can we help wild wolves?”.

About the Speaker

ColoradoWild is a small group of scientists and advocates that strive to connect the public with science. We work to protect our wild lands and wildlife. Becca Burkhalter earned her Ecology degree from The University of North Texas, where she participated in biological field studies in North Texas and the southern tip of Chile. Today, she works as a science educator and animal handler at zoos and rescues.
